ReplyDelete2. Lucy is a tour guide in Odessa. She enjoys performing for her tourists, she hates boring academic tours with lots of dates in them. I would not like to have the same job as Lucy because it has a stressful schedule and sometimes there are big groups of tourists.
3. The standards that I consider important are: Establish a welcoming rapport with the group by smiling when you greet the group an introducing yourself and the driver, and use voice correctly with a variety of pitch and lively sense of humour.
I think the standards that are not very important are control of hand and arm gestures because if we are enthusiastic tour guides we can talk naturally, and warn groups of hazards, e.g. while walking and getting off the coach. Because there are usually visible signs that tourist can read.
4.If the coach breaks down I would tell the tourists not to worry because I would immediately call another driver to come on a bus to continue our tour. I would offer the tourists to take them on the coach to other destinations the next day.
5.The information that I find interesting is that Paris has more familiar landmarks than any other city on earth. Parisiense’s favorite subject is food; fresh ingredients, great chefs and the refined style of French cooking make Paris one of the best places on earth to be hungry.
The most interesting attractions shown are: Clos Montmartre, the last remaining vineyard in Paris, the arc of triumph, the Eiffel Tower, and plenty of excellent restaurants.
