Gaston Acurio thinks that Mistura is an inspiration for people that try to do a better job because they might be part of this someday, and it’s an honor for them to share with people that come to Mistura what they are doing. I’m grateful with Peru because it has so much potential in its food even with peruvian people, I’ve learned that it doesn’t matter the place where you came from, all that matter is the effort you put in what you want to do in the future.

The founder of Mistura is chef Gaston Acurio; he thinks that food is an important part of our culture. He thinks that it is an honor to be in Mistura, Peruvian cooks want to do and share things. The purpose is to make the world happy. Mistura expo helps connect people, we feel proud of our food, the success of Peruvian food is because of the abundance of fresh fruit, fish, vegetables..etc that we can find here. We can make a better world with what we have.
